Introduction

Jordan is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate and co-owner of Hope Counseling Center in Amarillo, Texas. Jordan graduated from West Texas A&M University with her Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies, and she received her Master of Education in School Counseling from Lamar University. Jordan has over eleven years of experience working with elementary and middle school students within the public school system, including coaching girls' athletics for the majority of those years. Jordan pursued a certification with her Goldendoodle, LuLu, in Animal-Assisted Counseling from Texas State University, and she holds a license as a Professional Counseling-Associate in Texas. Jordan was born and raised in the Amarillo/Canyon area. She has been married to her husband for 15 years, and they have two outstanding daughters and four awesome dogs! ~ Animal-Assisted Therapy ~ Jordan and her Therapy Dog, LuLu, are a Certified Animal-Assisted Team through Texas State University. With the use of canine interventions, Jordan and LuLu work together to help their clients reach goals and discover inner strengths while overcoming any obstacles along the way. They believe that maintaining a positive mindset helps build on a person's best qualities, find their strengths, improve resilience, and gain a more positive view of the world.
