Jordana Ravick

I am a Clinical Social Worker licensed in the States of Maryland and New York, as well as in the District of Columbia. After many years working in New York City with adolescents, young adults, couples, families, and those navigating perinatal issues - I now offer therapeutic services and support to those living in the Maryland and DC areas. I hold a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from New York University, and a dual baccalaureate degree (BS) in Family Studies and English Literature from the University of Maryland. I additionally hold certification in: Family and Couples Therapy (Ackerman Institute for the Family); Fertility Counseling (Covington Applegarth Fertility Counseling Postgraduate Course); Foundational EMDR treatment (Touchstone Institute); Complicated Grief Treatment (Columbia University). I have special passion and expertise supporting women at all stages of life, working with couples and wide ranging relationship issues, supporting individuals and couples navigating all fertility, infertility and postpartum issues, and supporting those navigating various forms of grief. Using a collaborative, relational approach, I bring compassion, experience and insight to each therapy session. I strive to create a safe environment where you can comfortably share your stories, thoughts and feelings. My goal is to empower all individuals, couples and families to understand themselves at a deeper level, to communicate more effectively, develop healthy coping skills and to form lasting positive connections with those who matter most.
