I’m Jose J. Macias, a first-generation Mexican-American mental health therapist with a Master’s in Social Work from USC (2019). With six years of experience, I’ve supported individuals in residential treatment, as well as children, adolescents, and families through nonprofits and schools. My goal is to provide psychotherapeutic services to those seeking to improve mental health, process trauma, and develop coping strategies for depression, anxiety, grief, behavioral issues, life transitions, family conflicts, and low self-esteem. I take a client-centered, strengths-based approach, providing a safe and supportive space for individuals to explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. My goal is to foster self-awareness, healing, and growth while empowering clients to navigate life’s challenges with confidence and clarity. I am fully bilingual in English and Spanish, providing therapy services in both languages to ensure accessible, culturally responsive, and effective support for diverse clients.
