I am the visionary and founder of Dragonfly Behavioral Services, a comprehensive solution to mental health and learning needs for adults, children and families. I received my Masters from Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences at Case Western University in 2003, and a Licensed Independent Social Worker and Intervention Specialist in the state of Ohio. I have 17 years of experience working in both clinical and school district settings of culturally diverse districts in the Cuyahoga, Lake, and Geauga county areas. I received training from the Trauma-Informed Care (TIC) from the National Institute for Trauma and Loss in Children (TLC). If you decided to work with me, I believe in a strong therapeutic & trusting relationship where you can feel safe and valued. I'm trained in family system theory and understand the social, behavioral, emotional, and cognitive challenges you face. I use evidence-based modalities such as CBT, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Mindfulness, and the use of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. I become your partner on a journey where you hold the flashlight and at times, direct your attention to illuminate the unseen. I work hard in each session to guide you to a point where you leave the session with greater insight and knowledge of the power that is in you, to influence the change you seek to achieve.
