Joe Chambers is a licensed professional counselor (LPC) with almost over half a decade of experience working as a counselor. He attended The University of Texas to attain his Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology, and the University of Houston-Clear Lake to receive his Master’s of Arts in Clinical Psychology. Mr. Chambers has worked with both children and adults who experience depression, anger management issues, addictions, co-dependency, traumatic experiences or are just dealing with what life throws at them in general. He has found that having someone there to listen and walk with you through difficult moments can be monumental, whether it’s enhancing or gaining new coping skills, weighing options, or just being there to hear you out when you feel at a loss. Mr. Chambers’ counseling style combines client-driven therapy with skills and interventions based in cognitive behavior therapy, mindfulness, acceptance-commitment, and solution-focused techniques. He believes that central to this is the relationship that is built through trust, time, and a little bit of humor. As a therapist, his goal is to create a safe space for you to discuss whatever you deem as your goals for your life worth living. In that space, his hope is that you can find the tools and the support to reach them effectively. Check out my profile on Psychology Today! : https://www.psychologytoday.com/profile/796731
