Introduction

I believe that as your therapist I am here to help you to figure out where your pain lies, where you tend to stumble and to work collaboratively with you to do something different . . . perhaps for the first time in your life. I am here to help you see past your blind spots and show you the qualities and strengths which you have yet to own, or perhaps lost somewhere along the way then assist you in processing and metabolizing your pain and to move into a space of insight, wellbeing and empowerment. While educated in psychodynamic talk therapy, my training emphasis has been on trauma recovery, relationships, LGBT issues, couples and relationships. I have been trained in EMDR (Emotional Desensitization and Reprocessing), EFT (Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy) and Somatic Experiencing.
