Joshua was raised in a small town in Louisiana and graduated with a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Counseling from Southwestern Seminary in 2008. After graduating, he worked at Home Depot in the building materials department. He likes to say there are two different ends to Home Depot. People who go into lawn and garden are happy because they can make their house pretty. People who go into building materials are upset because something in their home is broken. He utilized his counseling training to meet people where they were at, understand their problems, help guide them through the situation, find the big picture, and come alongside to find a path to a solution. With 12 years of experience, Joshua approaches counseling from a holistic perspective, recognizing the importance of the person's spiritual, emotional, and physical well-being. He encourages a strong focus on the relationships between thoughts, feelings, and actions and how those relationships can affect us positively or negatively. He enjoys helping clients overcome personal obstacles to bring about life changes.
