Introduction

Do you feel like life is just chaotic and you do not know how to handle all of it? Are you living a stressful lifestyle because your kids are resentful, depressed, and anxious? Do you desire to help in any way but simply do not know how? Is your relationship entangled with constant quarreling and you feel like you have tried everything and feel hopeless that things will get better? If you are ready to take hold of your life and get the help you need, then I am here to help! Through counseling, I have helped children, teens, and adults regain control and how to manage the difficulties of life better. I do this by getting to know the real you and getting to the origin of the issues you are battling with. Through my non-judgmental approach you will feel seen, heard, and valued during our time together.  When working with your child or teen, I often will use books, games and other activities to connect with them on their level. I get to know them and their interests in order to incorporate this into counseling. I have used play, video games, and anything else they are interested in to open doors to their hearts. Once these doors are opened, we can move into getting them to start investing and making changes that will transform. My approach is to use Biblical principles combined with effective counseling techniques as the core of how I can help you. I use techniques such as CBT, Reality Therapy, and NLP to uncover the roots of why life is the way it is and why you have not been able to change until now.  From there, we move into specific methods that best match to your individual needs.  I have witnessed incredible life transformations on issues with depression, anxiety, stress/anger management, relationship issues, behavior management, parenting concerns, communication issues and more. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology at the University of Oklahoma and my Master of Science degree in Mental Health Counseling at Oklahoma State University. The most important aspect of my life is my personal relationship with Jesus and my family! I love to be outdoors and fish, bike, hike, and play any sport as often as I can. One of my favorite quotes is “Religion is a guy in church thinking about fishing. Relationship is a guy out fishing thinking about God” - Unknown. I am so eager to meet you and start this journey with you. The journey where you break loose from the stress and pain and begin to start discovering and living the life that you have been desiring!
