My name is JP Avery. I’m a licensed professional counselor, clinical supervisor, and owner of Westview Counseling. I work well with individual adults who struggle with anxiety, mixed anxiety and depression, PTSD, and relational issues. I bring a practical, engaged, relational, and productive approach to supporting you in addressing your struggles. I believe there are any number of experiences in life that knock us off course. Sometimes one big event can impact us for years to come and other times we are impacted by living in situations that negatively effect us daily. Either way healing and growth are possible. I utilize my broad life experiences in conjunction with ongoing education to offer you a skilled and understanding relationship in support of your healing process. I think that it is important to understand the ways that past experiences are impacting our current functioning as a way to better understand how to move forward in a healthy and authentic way.
