Dr. Ju-Ping Huang (she/her/hers) is a Licensed Psychologist in MN, offering psychotherapy for adults. In therapy, Ju-Ping strives to create a collaborative and safe space where her clients can embark upon the journey of self-discovery. In this process, individuals identify their strengths and resiliency while working through their struggles. Her integrated therapy approach focuses on understanding individuals’ unique needs and their context (environment, spirituality, culture, and multiple identities). Some of Ju-Ping’s special interests include: trauma/PTSD, depression, anxiety, health issues (e.g., autoimmune diseases, cancer, chronic pain, etc.), reproductive trauma (e.g., infertility, miscarriage, birth trauma), cultural/racial concerns, gender identify, and sexual orientation. Specifically, she integrates the principles and interventions of Mindfulness, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, and Trauma Informed Stabilization Treatment to address trauma-related challenges and to facilitate healing. Ju-Ping is also trained in multicultural counseling and can offer culturally responsive therapy. Ju-Ping completed her M.A and Ph.D. in counseling psychology from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. She has clinical experiences in a variety of settings, including medical and university settings, mental health community, and private practices. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and pets, reading, hiking, biking, and camping.
