Her clinical internships were at ACES Regional High School and Yale Behavioral Health Services in Hamden. She spent two years as a Clinical Fellow at Yale University. Judy views counseling as an opportunity to be wholly seen and heard for who you are. She supports her clients in identifying dysfunctional thought and behavior patterns that don't work, and by helping them develop new and more present-based ways of functioning. Her approach with clients is compassionate and supportive while exploring a plan to move out of what is causing challenges and heal old wounds, in order to thrive in your life. Judy’s methods are eclectic, drawing on evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness Based Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Self-Regulation techniques. Judy aims to create a compassionate, safe, and supportive space by providing a warm setting with validation, laughter, and empathy, for your healing and self-exploration.
