I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of New Jersey and Texas and received my Masters of Social Work from New York University Silver School of Social Work in 2015. Prior to returning to school to become a therapist, I practiced law for 17 years as a public finance attorney and then as an Assistant District Attorney in New York City. I am a member of the National Association of Social Workers and am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. I began my career as a therapist at a residential treatment center working with children and adolescents aged 5 - 14 with cognitive and behavioral issues, and their families, providing them with intensive individual and family therapy. Concurrently, I also worked in private practice working with adolescents and adults who struggled with anxiety and depression. I then transitioned to an outpatient behavioral health practice affiliated with a local hospital where I provided psychotherapy to adults who struggled with, among other things, anxiety disorders, depression, PTSD and bipolar disorder. I simultaneously worked as an IIC (Intensive in Community) therapist working with at-risk adolescents and their families. I utilize an eclectic approach to psychotherapy depending on the individual’s needs. I use a strength based approach with all clients to help them develop coping skills and techniques to manage the stressors in their lives. I work with adolescents and adults ages 18 and up. I am a recent transplant to Texas and am currently seeing Clients virtually.
