Traumatic experiences, relationship problems, and painful emotions can keep us from living the lives we want to live. Our lives become about avoiding discomfort rather than engaging with what matters. I will help you develop techniques to break this vicious cycle and reconnect with your values. To foster this important work, I create a safe and affirming environment in which to explore, process, and connect. My goal is to help you feel seen and respected for who you are including all aspects of identity and culture such as sexuality, gender identity, religion, and race. When considering therapy, it’s important to seek approaches that have been proven to work. Through my training at Washington University in St Louis and the Minneapolis VA, I gained specialized training in a variety of evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness. I offer specific treatments for PTSD, Insomnia, Social Anxiety Disorder, Depression, Panic Disorder, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Nightmares, and emotion regulation difficulties. I look forward to working with you! To get started, fill out the contact form and you can expect to hear from me within two business days.
