Introduction

Do you feel constantly on edge and struggle to enjoy the present moment? Do you find it difficult to enjoy your accomplishments? Do you find yourself reacting emotionally to things without understanding why? Do you find it difficult to prioritize your own needs? Are you looking for a safe and compassionate space to open up that box of difficult experiences and begin your healing journey? The good news is that you don’t have to deal with these thoughts, feelings, and experiences on your own anymore. If you’re feeling like you can benefit from therapy, but aren’t sure where to start, we can work together at whatever pace you’re comfortable with, to unravel them and begin to build new coping mechanisms that feel right for you. I work primarily with young adults struggling to cope with anxiety, depression, life transitions, family dynamics, and implementing boundaries. I believe therapy to be a collaborative process where we work together to unite your past and present through identifying patterns, roadblocks, and family dynamics, and helping you to work through them towards a healthier, happier future. I place a lot of emphasis on creating a warm and welcoming therapeutic environment to allow you to be your most authentic self. My goal is to assist you in feeling validated, creating connections, and creating a toolbox of coping skills you can utilize outside of therapy. I utilize a combination of Psychodynamic Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help young adults struggling with anxiety, depression, and difficult relationships gain the confidence and understanding to meet their goals and begin to feel “unstuck.”
