Your child is struggling and you are not sure what to do. The once happy child you knew seems to no longer be there, and you so desperately want them to be able to be happy again. You are seeing your child’s distress come out in the form of anger explosions, isolation or extreme emotions, and you know there must be a lot happening inside them that they need to express. Your child may have gone through significant life transitions, loss, or trauma, and you want them to be able to process these events now so the impact doesn’t linger into adulthood. You want what is best for your child and to help them find a way back to who they are. I specialize in working with children, teens and young adults, and utilize creative forms of therapy (play, art, and role play) to engage clients in therapy in ways that are less intimidating. I support children in expressing their emotions, learning healthy coping skills, exploring their identity, and understanding factors that contribute to their actions. I offer after school appointments to accommodate busy schedules, and offer therapy in-person as well as virtually. It is my goal to work together to help your child learn to love themselves, and navigate life’s challenges with appropriate skills and self-compassion. I look forward to helping your child find their way to their happiest self.
