Psychotherapy can help individuals identify the cause of pain, gain insight, expand coping skills, and remove barriers that get in the way of meaningful relationships. Looking inward and exploring your thoughts and feelings can be a daunting and scary process. I hope I can join you in your journey towards healing and positive change. I am a licensed clinical psychologist, supervisor, and consultant. I specialize in working with college students, Asian Americans, BIPOC communities, and providing supervision and consultation to mental health professionals and organizations. I have 15+ years of experience working at various settings including college counseling centers, community mental health, and hospitals as a clinician, individual supervisor, director of training, and director of diversity, equity, and inclusion. PSYCHOTHERAPY My approach to therapy is centered on social justice, developmental, and relational psychodynamic principals. This lens allows me to pay attention to the impact of early childhood and family experiences, social-cultural factors, relational patterns, systematic oppression, and self awareness when working with individuals. I believe that a truly healing therapeutic relationship explores and fosters all intersecting identities of a person. SUPERVISION I provide supervision to young professionals within the mental health field. I highly value supervising and mentoring young professional as they launch their careers and grapple with professional and personal identities. CONSULTATION I provide consultation and workshops to organizations and academic institutions around diversity, equity, and inclusion. I specialize in helping organizations improve individual and group cultural humility, and provide training on topics such as working with BIPOC, international, or first generation college students, white fragility, racial trauma, Asian American mental health, culturally competent supervision, and clinical work with a focus on social justice frameworks.
