Though I studied and received my undergraduate degree in psychology back in 1994, I did not come to truly understand the power of therapy until a decade or so later, when I was personally recovering from a relationship with a narcissist. Several, actually! Therapy gave me a place to process thoughts and feelings, but more importantly, it gave me an opportunity to find my own voice. Eight years post divorce, I received my Master’s Degree in counseling and became licensed as a Licensed Professional Counselor, with a Mental Health Services Provider designation. My hope and passion is to provide others with the hope, support and grace that I so desperately needed and received. I have been practicing since May 2016 and love being able to empower clients to heal and use their voices. I focus on offering a holistic and team approach as I support my clients through their own healing process. I have a lot of experience with and specialize in the following areas: Depression Anxiety Bipolar Difficulties with Self-Esteem Narcissistic Abuse Domestic Abuse Sexual Abuse Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder Divorce Recovery Stress Management Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) Grief, Loss, or Bereavement Developmental Trauma Marriage Counseling Blending Step Families
