I want you to know that we are on a journey together and your difficulties are not an imposition or burden: it is an honor to be your therapist. When we meet, you are handing over your heavy backpack. We process through situations and at the end, I hand the back pack to you, but it is a little lighter. Working on ourselves is seldom an individual effort; it involves those around us being supportive. I see people for individual services and the invitation is always open for people to involve their families, significant others, friends. I practice an evidence-based multimodal treatment approach because sometimes the square peg does fit in a round hole. My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, psychodynamic and rational-emotive counseling. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. It takes courage to seek for a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. If you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you. If you or a loved one are struggling with feelings of anxiety, worthlessness, depression, chronic emptiness or relationship difficulties I can help.
