I’m Julie, a compassionate and dedicated counselor with a wealth of experience in helping individuals navigate life's challenges. My practice focuses on relational issues, codependence, anxiety, depression, life transitions, boundaries, trauma, and grief. I believe in providing a safe and supportive space where clients can explore their feelings and experiences, fostering healing and personal growth. Throughout my career, I have worked in various mental health and behavioral settings, gaining valuable insights into the complexities of mental health. One of my most impactful roles involved supporting children, teens, and their families who have faced different types of abuse and trauma. This experience has deepened my understanding of their unique needs and strengthened my commitment to helping them heal. I am particularly passionate about working with younger clients. I use play therapy to engage children and teens in meaningful ways, allowing them to express themselves and process their emotions in a safe environment. For adults, I offer both talk therapy and expressive arts therapy, tailoring my creative approaches to meet the individual needs of children, teens, and adults alike. I find that integrating the arts can be a powerful way to facilitate expression and understanding. My holistic approach recognizes that every individual is unique. I take the time to build a trusting relationship with my clients, enabling me to tailor my methods and interventions to their specific circumstances. My goal is to foster resilience, empower individuals, and help them build healthier relationships with themselves and others. If you’re seeking support in any of these areas, I’m here to guide you on your journey toward well-being and fulfillment. Together, we can work through your challenges and create a brighter future.
