Introduction

Life experiences play a major role in our beliefs, behaviors, and emotions. Sometimes these can affect the way that we perceive ourselves and the outside world. When these impact our lives in a negative way, we can either continue down the same path or choose a path that will lead us to achieving personal growth and healthier relationships. Each individual is unique and needs a personalized approach to therapy. I use skills from a variety of treatment methods including CBT, DBT, Exposure and Response Prevention, mindfulness, and trauma-focused therapy. My priority is creating a positive therapeutic relationship through empathy and trust where you feel comfortable to express yourself in a safe, non-judgmental space. "When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves."~Viktor E. Frankl
