Hello! My name is Julie Wilson and I am excited to be your counselor and guide you to become who you want to be. People seeking help with improving self-esteem, with relationships, and with regaining control may consider me as a counselor. People who struggle with trauma, whether from recent events or from childhood, can expect to work with me on overcoming this together. I help children, adolescents, and adults work through grief, anxiety, depression, trauma, and other concerns that affect their relationships and self-esteem. I utilize and appreciate most theoretical approaches. I find myself often using a person-centered approach with cognitive behavioral techniques or dialectal behavioral techniques. I also have a love for art therapy and for play therapy. Together we will work through trauma, attachment, anxiety, depression, and other concerns you may have. As a counselor, I value the importance of building a successful client-therapist relationship together. I believe in collaborating to work on therapeutic goals.
