Introduction

Welcome! I'm a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and private practice owner based in Michigan. I use evidence-based treatments to empower adolescents (ages 13+) and adults with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder and anxiety to face their fears, break the cycle of OCD and anxiety, and engage in values-based living. My passion for OCD education and treatment comes from my own experiences with this disorder. I've seen firsthand how debilitating OCD and anxiety can be, and how scary it is to seek treatment. I've also seen how impactful and life-changing correct treatment can be! The primary treatment modality I use is Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy (ERP), which helps clients gradually face their fears in a controlled environment while learning to resist compulsive behaviors. This approach is considered the "gold standard" treatment approach for OCD due to its effectiveness. As a member of the International OCD Foundation, I stay up to date on the latest research findings and best practices for treatment. I take a feminist, anti-racist, and LGBTQ+ affirming approach to my therapy practice. I offer both in-person and telehealth sessions to accommodate your needs and preferences. If you're ready to take the first step toward managing your OCD or anxiety, I offer free 15-minute phone consultations to discuss how we might work together. Want to learn more about me?
