Welcome, I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker, licensed in Ohio and West Virginia, with a Master's Degree in Social Work from West Virginia University. My passions include people, animals, and the outdoors. Since 2007 I have worked with individuals and families of the Ohio Valley. My professional work includes outpatient therapy focusing on depression and anxiety; treating substance abuse with co-occurring mental health disorders; providing trauma informed care for juvenile offenders; and intense in home therapy services for at risk individuals experiencing moderate to severe symptomology. I am proud to have used my skills and experiences to develop and implement a substance abuse program for females in juvenile detention. Through a cognitive approach, I serve adolescents and adults experiencing difficult life challenges along with unhelpful thoughts, feelings, or behaviors. I am a Certified Depression and Mood Disorder Treatment Professional. I am committed to being well-informed and am currently working on my certification for Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, in addition to being knowledgeable in several other therapy modules.
