Introduction

We believe that counseling should be for everybody, and that our identities and beliefs are integral to successful therapy. There are many ways to exist in the world, and at Outlier Counseling and Wellness we strive to serve those who may feel misunderstood or left out. We want to invite you to bring yourself as you are, so that we can explore and collaborate to get where you want to go. We have two therapists - Kade Boliek, LPC and Kelly Lansden, LPC- to meet your needs in a holistic, inclusive manner. Issues that we would love to help with include trauma, LGBTQIA+, gender identity, chronic illness, chronic pain, neurodivergence, anxiety, depression, and more! Proudly 100% LGBTQIA+ owned and operated We are not affiliated with any faith and accommodate clients of any - or no - faith *Health insurance*: We are in the process of getting set up to accept insurance through Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama. If you are a new or existing client who would like to use insurance benefits to cover treatment, please let us know so we can better assist you. If you have mental health benefits through a different provider, we are happy to provide a superbill to assist you in self-filing for any out-of-network benefits you may have. * Sliding scale*: We offer sliding scale rates for private pay clients who cannot afford to pay full fee for treatment. Please note that sliding scale pricing is reserved for clients attending a minimum of 2 sessions per month. If you believe that you may qualify for a reduced rate, please let us know during your consultation or by contacting us via phone or email ahead of your first full session. *Kade is currently on waitlist*
