Introduction

I know finding the right therapist can be hard, nerve wracking, and a grueling process. For many clients this is the first time they have asked for help. I am an Individual, Relational, and Sex Therapist. I am well versed on many issues related to individuals, couples, families, sexuality and gender. I am LGBTQAI-affirming as well as kink-aware and poly friendly. I graduated with my Masters of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from La Salle University. My Bachelor’s of Science degree in Behavioral Science is from Wilmington University, where I also earned certificate degrees in Child Advocacy and Conflict Resolution. I am currently licensed in Pennsylvania. I am passionate about creating a space for clients that is safe, freeing and nonjudgmental. I hope to do this through my multicultural background, interest in the client’s perspective and the therapeutic relationship built. I operate from a systems and contextual orientation for which I believe clients are stuck, not sick. I work with clients to create goals and plans that are collaborative and empowering. Clients appreciate that I am empathetic, honest, direct and have a sense of humor. Along with my systemic training in therapy, I also have a background in the athletics world. As a former college athlete, I am well versed in the sacrifice, struggles and joys that come along with competing at a high level. I enjoy working with athletes competing on any level, as I am a strong believer that a successful athlete is a mentally sound athlete. I am a proud member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, as well as the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists.
