I work with clients experiencing symptoms such as excessive worrying, intrusive thoughts, low mood, inability to experience contentment in their lives, or post-traumatic stress. I provide a compassionate, nonjudgmental space for clients to feel heard while helping them identify and access their vision for a better future. Sometimes my clients come to me after trying therapy numerous times before in their lives; sometimes they have never stepped foot in a therapist's office. Sometimes they have read every self-help book they can find and sometimes they have just begun to admit to themselves that they may not be able to cope with their struggles alone anymore. No matter where they are in their journey, I meet them where they are with compassion and nonjudgment. My clients often just need someone to talk to who will understand their pain and see their strengths. I use integrative interventions from various therapy styles, including Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Somatic Psychology. I don't tell you what to think or believe, but I will help you reflect on your inner dialogue and decide whether you want to keep those beliefs or change them.
