Are you struggling with your child's behavior? Are you looking to strengthen your relationship with your child? I am here to help not only your child but you as a parent. I applaud you for taking the first step in therapy for your child. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience working in the school system and a certification in trauma. Children learn to understand the world and their place in it through play, so I often incorporate play therapy. Your child will learn to strengthen vital skills such as emotional regulation, effective communication, assertiveness, empathy, and self-awareness. My goal is for your child to feel heard, seen, and validated. I believe parents are the key to positive change, so I will walk along side you throughout the therapy process. We are a team! Kids are resilient, but oftentimes, therapy at a young age can help change the path for adulthood. One of the bravest things someone can do is understand their own story. Life is stressful, and we all need help from time to time.
