Hello and welcome! My name is Karen Ouse (she/her), and I have been practicing psychotherapy for over 10 years. I hold a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology from the School of Holistic Studies at JFK University. Two areas of specialized training I have are in Somatic Experiencing® (SE) and the Neuro-Affective Relational Model™ (NARM). Often times, the places we get stuck come from early wounding, and the strategies we developed about who we thought we were in an attempt to survive and protect our attachment relationships. I provide a warm, non-pathologizing, culturally sensitive lens, and am open to working with people of all races, gender/non-binary, sexual orientation, stages of life, and alternative lifestyles. I am a tribal member of the Federated Indians of Graton Rancheria, a former dancer, and a huge animal lover. I enjoy supporting you discovering what you most want for yourself, and exploring what can help you reconnect with who you truly are!
