Introduction

Karen has helped a diverse population of individuals, families and children find healthy perceptions of themselves. She specialize in working with individuals who have experienced trauma, abuse, anxiety, depression and struggles with addiction. She has success in working with families to help them gain a homeostasis family system. She understands how anxiety and depression can impact day to day living and limit individuals interactions with others. To that end, she will work with you to identify a treatment plan that is unique to you and your situation. She primarily utilized CBT and Solution Focused Therapy interventions in treatment; however will interweave other methods of intervention as needed. Karen is additionally skilled and experienced in working with couples to help them work through challenging problems, learn each other’s love language and improve on communication. When working with couples she utilizes Narrative Therapy, Explore ways to improve Communication and Positive Psychology.​ Her devotion is to help you find your passion and purpose to improve your quality of life and to help you to find a healthy perception of yourself so you can know yourself as complete, and whole.​
