Seeking therapy can be frustrating, overwhelming and scary. You hope to find someone who understands what you're going through, what you've been through or what you're about to face. Life can be difficult and complicated. Sometimes we feel alone and need someone to talk to or we just want someone who is not in our circle. Someone who won't judge. Someone who will take the time to listen and give a different perspective. We all have different ways of approaching problems, managing them and getting the outcomes we desire. Therapy is about finding what works best for you and working together towards it. My approach is integrative, using the strengths you bring as well as solution focused, CBT and EMDR . I have been practicing since 2001. My prior experience was at a Community Mental Health Center. I work with adults and focus on anxiety, depression, relationship issues, self image issues and life changes.
