I'm Kat. I love working with people who are willing to work on themselves. Therapy can be messy, real messy, and working through that can be overwhelming; that’s where your therapist comes in. Let’s sort through everything together. Some quick facts about me: I've worked with a variety of populations from hospice to inpatient psych. I think cilantro is an insult to herbs. I despise the phrase, "pull yourself up by the bootstraps." I read, a lot (hello escapism!) I'm happily medicated for my own mental health. I'm an advocate for mental health education and inclusivity. My background and training is in psychology with a neuro and clinical concentration, an MSW with a clinical concentration, and I’m a Certified Trauma Professional. If I haven't lost you yet, I think you deserve to have a person; I'll be your person. Let's schedule a time to chat. You can learn a bit more about me and my practice by visiting livingbalancepsych.com
