I see the counseling relationship as an alliance formed between the counselor and client as we work together to help you reach goals set for yourself to overcome whatever symptoms you are experiencing. My approach is compassionate, and nonjudgmental with every effort made to help the client feel comfortable in the space we share during session. EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is my specialty in helping people work through anxiety, depression, and trauma. I have also had success in using CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) to help overcome general anxiety and depressive symptoms.
