I am a trauma-informed, depth oriented psychodynamic psychotherapist. I have a BFA in Photography/Art History, an MA in Historical Studies/Social Theory, and an MA in Counseling. I completed the two year post-grad clinical residency at Care and Counseling -- and the two year post-grad Advanced Psychodynamic Psychotherapy program at the St. Louis Psychoanalytic Institute. Research interests include film studies, dream theory, and the role of (pop)cultural imagery and narrative in the development of the Self. I seek to provide a welcoming and compassionate environment for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings, develop tools that increase resilience, come to a better understanding of themselves, and increase awareness of how relational and socio-cultural systems affect the development and lived reality of the individual. I work with patients collaboratively to foster rich, resilient, creative, and peaceful inner lives, develop healthy boundaries, and strengthen interpersonal relationships. I specialize in complex/developmental trauma, post-traumatic/acute stress, grief, depression, and anxiety, though have experience working with a wide variety of issues.
