Early in Kate’s career she worked with diverse socio-economic demographics and age ranges. Her work included providing therapy in residential homes, homeless shelters, and to women on parole. Kate also worked in public education providing mental health services to children ages 5-18. Working in varied settings has allowed Kate to gain a unique set of skills and insight as a therapist. Kate’s experience has provided her the opportunity to look at mental health through a real-life practical lens. Kate’s passion is to increase accessibility to mental health support and services to all and to provide meaningful supervision to future therapists. Kate works with families, couples, addiction, autism, depression, anxiety, bipolar, PTSD, trauma, childhood trauma, LGBTQIA+, teens, and children.
