Every emotion, thought, or feeling we experience is valid and has the potential to influence our lives. Feeling intense emotions, especially around feelings of grief, can be difficult to process and at times we need to seek clarity for what we are experiencing. I learned this during my own grief journey through the losses of loved ones. We will work together to create worthwhile, real change. I will offer my support in a nurturing and non-judgmental environment. I will offer a specialized approach to each session because every person is unique. I work from a trauma-informed perspective that includes cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and mindfulness. I have experience working with depression, anxiety, trauma, chronic illness/pain, and crisis intervention. I work with children, adolescents, adults, and elderly people. I am allied with LGBTQIA and BiPOC communities. Life is about understanding the complexities of our own thoughts and finding our own personal meaning in our daily lives.
