It takes courage to seek help when life’s challenges seem overwhelming, and I honor that you are taking a step towards finding support. I understand the importance of this decision, and use a warm, creative, and collaborative approach to assist you in the search for solutions to your concerns. This process offers an opportunity for growth, healing, and self-discovery, so that you may reconnect to your own wisdom and compassion. I can help you explore barriers to experiencing greater contentment, fulfillment, and joy, while increasing coping skills to manage life’s inevitable stressors. I have worked with people across the lifespan, from adolescence to older adulthood, as well as families. I am passionate about helping individuals with mood and anxiety concerns, complex trauma, LGBTQ+ issues, grief/loss, relationship issues, life transitions, ACA issues, and healing from dysfunctional upbringings. I have a deep understanding of substance use disorders and can aid those who are on a path of recovery and may be experiencing challenges that hinder a sense of peace. My approach involves gentleness and humor, while drawing from many different modalities, including CBT, DBT, mindfulness practices, Attachment Theory, EMDR, and Motivational Interviewing among others. I received an M.A. in Counseling Psychology from Palo Alto University in 2014 and practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. The therapist you choose to walk alongside you is a powerful decision. If you feel that I might be a fit, please contact me to schedule a free 15-minute consultation so that we can discuss me partnering with you on this important journey. I look forward to speaking with you!
