Introduction
My name is Kathleen (Kathy) Ervin. I have practiced in community mental health for over 30 years beginning as a Family Service worker with Head Start, then a case manager for the severely and profoundly mentally ill. I worked while making my way through my undergraduate and my graduate programs and became a counselor in 2007 and independently licensed in 2009. I was a Sunday School teacher for middle school and high school aged teens as well as the developer/manager of a Children's Church program for 20 years. I have worked with people from all walks of life and I feel called to work in an expanded way with people to address not only mental health needs, but also spiritual needs as a Christian counselor.
