Kathryn is a Marriage-Family Therapist, licensed intern whose approach is to help her clients find meaning and purpose in life that often is lost in the midst of tragedy, grief, depression, and anxiety. She has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's degree in Counseling from the University of Nevada, Reno. Kathryn specializes in aiding individuals grappling with addiction in addition to those navigating the many complexities of life. More specifically she has conducted groups on trauma education, sexual health, intimate partner-violence, emotional regulation, chronic illness, anger management, and co-occurring disorders. Her therapeutic approach is characterized by utilizing motivational interviewing with empathy and understanding, fostering a supportive environment for her clients to explore and address their challenges. She believes in the power of the therapeutic relationship to foster resilience and positive change, guiding her clients towards a more fulfilling and authentic life.
