Introduction

You’re struggling feeling comfortable with being yourself and are feeling disconnected in your relationships. You can’t seem to stop comparing yourself or your relationship to others, and you constantly feel like everyone else has it all together while you never seem to measure up. If this is you, I’m here to help! Whether you are facing relationship concerns, feeling anxious or insecure, or going through a life transition, I want to walk with you. Together, we can face the challenges that feel too overwhelming to carry alone. I believe that self-awareness, compassion, and connection are the keys to healing and change. Therefore, together we will take an empathic, systemic approach to better understand how your past informs your present to help you reclaim your life and become your most authentic self. Through experiencing the healing power of counseling myself, I became committed to the idea of supporting others in their journey towards growth and healing. I obtained my Bachelor’s in Psychology at Texas Christian University and am a graduate of the University of North Texas’ Master’s in Counseling program, with a Marriage & Family focus. Throughout my years of practice, I have pursued and participated in trainings, specifically focused on trauma, relationships, and healthy communication. I am specialized in working with clients through stress and anxiety, relationship concerns, family-of-origin issues, identity development through life-transition (i.e. pre/post college, break-ups, new relationships, family conflict, etc.), and self-esteem issues like shame, perfectionism, and codependency. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and combine traditional talk therapy with EMDR to address trauma, the nervous system, and emotional regulation. I am also trained in the Gottman Method (Level 1 & Level 2) which I use with couples in pre-engagement and pre-marital seasons, in addition to committed couples who feel disconnected, or are facing a challenging transition together. I believe that every situation and life journey is an opportunity for personal growth and empowerment. My hope is to help you identify and work toward the changes you desire, while providing you with the tools you need to become more successful, resilient, and connected to yourself and others. It doesn't have to be this hard! If you are ready to rediscover who you are and gain contentment and fulfillment in your life and relationships, contact me today; you don’t have to face life’s challenges alone. I’m here to help!
