If you feel you need someone who is “not your typical therapist,” I may be the right therapist for you. Many of my clients have described me as real, down-to-Earth, and relatable. I’m not perfect, and I don’t try to come across that way. I’ve worked in the behavioral health and therapeutic field since 2008. My mission is to serve individuals with mental health and intellectual disabilities to live a more balanced, tranquil life. I have experience working with adults, children, and even families in outpatient, home, and community environments. I’m a person-centered therapist who believes that an individual needs an individual approach. I use an integrated and holistic approach to empower and support clients in achieving and maintaining mental wellbeing. Currently, I’m learning and implementing animal-assisted and nature therapy in addition to using a range of evidence-based approaches; including but not limited to CBT/Trauma Focused CBT, DBT skills, ACT, psychoanalysis, gestalt, and existential therapies.
