Kathy McCrorie, MS, LPC, NCC, owns Emerald Integrative Therapy Services, LLC. Before Kathy’s career in counseling, she worked in the corporate world as a Senior Vice President for an Atlanta-based insurance company. Kathy’s expertise in neurofeedback therapy sets her apart. She studied in Boston with some of the world leaders in this field and has continued to refine her knowledge of brain mapping, protocol development, and NFB training. Her work with clients dealing with a range of issues, from anxiety, depression, traumatic brain injuries, and ADHD to sleep disorders, has allowed her to witness the life-changing benefits of neurofeedback. She is passionate about introducing this as a companion or alternative to talk therapy and works with clients of all ages for NFB. She is a licensed professional counselor and a national certified counselor in Georgia. She has also been approved to provide telehealth services to Florida residents. Kathy has a degree in psychology and received her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health and Rehabilitation Counseling from Thomas University in Thomasville, GA. She currently sees individuals and couples dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, bipolar disorder, and relationship counseling. As well she is also trained in neurofeedback, including qEEG technology. Kathy’s passion for her work is particularly evident in her dedication to helping couples. She is trained in the Gottman Method, a renowned approach to relationship counseling. This method and her extensive experience allow her to assist partners in finding or rekindling intimacy.
