Introduction

I’m Kathy Pettengill, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a deep commitment to helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges. After working across various agencies, I’m now fortunate to offer my services through my own private practice. I work with youth and families to help them process difficult emotions, improve communication, and strengthen relationships. I also support individuals through significant life changes such as grief (including ambiguous grief), divorce, career transitions, trauma, anxiety, and depression. By offering tools and strategies, I guide clients in navigating these challenges with resilience, coping skills, and confidence. I believe therapy is a collaborative journey, and I’m dedicated to tailoring my approach to meet each client’s unique needs. My goal is to empower you to overcome obstacles, deepen connections, and find peace and fulfillment in your life. Throughout my career, I’ve been dedicated to providing a supportive and compassionate space for healing. I am currently expanding my expertise through post-graduate work in both Sex Therapy and Child-Centered Play Therapy, enhancing my ability to support clients of all ages with unique therapeutic needs. In my practice, I respect and honor diverse backgrounds, beliefs, and values of all individuals. I welcome clients from all faiths and spiritual traditions, ensuring that therapy remains a safe space where your beliefs are respected and incorporated into our work together. If you’re looking for a compassionate therapist to support you on your journey, I’d be honored to work with you. I currently have openings for new clients and invite you to reach out to schedule an appointment.
