As your therapist, my hope is that I can assist you in finding long lasting healing and recovery from what you struggle with. I practice from an emotional and relational perspective, because as human beings, we are deeply affected by our connection to others, and often struggle with handling our emotions. I am trained in EMDR, Emotionally focused individual therapy (EFIT), Internal Family Systems or parts work (IFS) and Somatic Experiencing (SE). I have experience helping folks work through relationship issues, sexual abuse/assault, PTSD and family trauma. I work with a lot of LGBTQ+ identified folks and have experience working with veterans. I also counsel couples and use EFT and attachment focused relationship practices to help with reconnecting, exploring emotional relationship cycles and sex therapy. In our work together, we will not only take into consideration your presenting issues, but we will explore your experiences in your family and culture, as well as any life events that have specifically affected you. I aim to create a non-judgmental, accepting and grounded relationship with you so you can explore, heal and grow.
