Welcome to my practice, Empathic Resilience Counseling. I've been a therapist since 2005 and have been in private practice since 2019. My overall clinical experience includes addiction and recovery with opiate addicted adults as well as 10 years experience in community mental health working with adults struggling with diverse presenting problems. Since starting my private practice in 2019, I've become passionate about helping clients specifically who struggle with family of origin dynamics, such as in the form of adult children of addicts, adult children of narcissists, and grief/loss. I also help my clients develop self-compassion and learn how to navigate challenging/antagonistic relationships. I'm a Certified Narcissistic Abuse Treatment Clinician (NATC) in the state of Washington. Please contact me if you're curious to schedule a free initial consultation to see if it will be a good fit for us to work together.
