Katie received her Masters of Arts in Counseling from Covenant Theological Seminary in 2019 and is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Missouri. She has experience working with adults of all ages dealing with anxiety, life transitions, abuse (physical/emotional/spiritual), grief, family dynamics, relational challenges and relationship to self. Many times, healing from these afflictions includes identifying life patterns that no longer suit clients, and working together to move towards freedom and health. She finds relationships to be central to therapeutic healing and hopes to foster that in her time with clients. Katie is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and utilizes this therapeutic intervention to treat all of her clients both short-term and long-term. Katie is an in-network provider for Aetna, Cigna and Optum (UnitedHealth Care and UMR). When she’s not in the counseling room you can find Katie spending quality time with loved ones and (horribly) playing pickle ball.
