As an Afro-Latina woman and first generation college graduate, I understand the unique pressure and challenges people of color experience. I have lived it. It is my privilege to empower my clients with the tools to break generational cycles of trauma and create the future they deserve. I specialize in treating adolescents, young adults and women using a culturally responsive and strengths-based approach. My communication style is caring, direct, and collaborative. Additionally, I have over a decade of experience working in public school systems with diverse populations K-12th grade. I offer consultation and school collaboration for any client with an individualized education plan (IEP) or 504 accommodation plan. Social-developmental history reports are available to clients upon request. Lastly, professional development & consultation on the subject of diversity, equity, and inclusion are available as well.
