You just have to know what that is." -Abed Nadir As a therapist, I take a reality-based, humanistic approach, incorporating a love for humor, gaming, and nature into mindfulness-based stress reduction and self-exploration. My goal is to take the shame and stigma out of the practice of self-care by making it practical and applicable to YOU. I believe we all know what our minds and bodies need, we just tend not to listen. Through an integrated mixture of evidence-based interventions, mindfulness, and psychoeducation, we will learn more about what makes you who you are, and what you need to become who you'd like to be. Living authentically means owning our place in the universe, understanding our limits, and unapologetically striving to reach our goals. I’m currently offering in-person and telehealth appointments for clients in Ohio. Established clients will have the option to schedule “park days,” during which non trauma-focused sessions will be held at a local park. I am happy to meet for a free 15 minute online or phone consultation to help you determine if we would be a good fit for each other.
