I received my bachelor's degree in public relations from York College of Pennsylvania, and my master’s in Counseling from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania. After Graduating I moved to Columbia, SC where I worked at the University of South Carolina before moving to work in community mental health in Sumter, SC. Degrees and professional experience are important, but what's more important is finding the right fit for your counselor. I am a believer that a healthy counseling relationship is key to therapeutic progress. I believe that laughter can, at times, be an important part of progress and healing. People often think that counseling has to be stuffy or serious, but if that's not who you are, you may find it does not lead you to progress. I try to create a therapeutic space that allows people to share openly and honestly. I believe that you are the expert in your own life, and that you have the ability to make progress towards your goals. I believe that counseling looks different for every person, and strive to create a personalized experience for all clients. If you are interested in having a discussion around the specific techniques that I use in his clinical spaces, do not hesitate to ask
