Introduction

Finding a safe space to be heard and validated is difficult. With all the energy and soul in New Orleans, I understand how overwhelming and chaotic life can feel in the Crescent City. I am here for you, whether you need a short-term space or something more long-term. I work with individuals who struggle with transitions, trauma, anger, grief, self-harm and behavior concerns. I practice from a holistic, person-centered approach, but utilize techniques from a variety of approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, CBT and Expressive Art and Play Therapy techniques. My focus is helping clients express, accept and understand. I offer gently direct guidance and support in sessions, identifying strengths and personal values and needs rather than deficits. In addition to more traditional counseling, I offer walk and talk therapy and family mediation. I am working towards becoming a Registered Play Therapist. I work with teens and adults. Together we can set goals, build communication, mindfulness and self-soothing skills to navigate a way to a more peaceful, calm existence. Please reach out so we can begin the healing journey.
