Now accepting new clients! WEEKDAY AFTERNOONS AND EVENINGS. BOTH IN-PERSON and FLEXIBLE TELEHEALTH OPTIONS. Let’s get real. I believe one of the bravest things you can do is begin to understand your own story. Seeking out a therapist who can help you on that path is the first step. How can I help you? Many people see therapy as a very one-sided conversation, with little opportunity for interaction or getting to experience each other as real people. In my approach, you will find that I keep it real! I want to help you achieve whatever solutions and life changes you are looking for while enjoying the process as much as possible and experiencing both yourself and your world in new ways. Your therapy does not always need to be painful. Our lives are too short to surrender to bad relationships, hold grudges, let trauma control us, or be anxious/angry all the time. You deserve to be free of emotional pain and able to take everything that comes your way and respond to it with wisdom and peace. You deserve to find meaning/purpose in work, family, friendships, spirituality, and all other life areas. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Gottman approaches (Couples therapy). I can utilize other modalities as needed. I specialize in anxiety, trauma, depression, substance addictions, sexual addictions/disorders, and couples counseling. I have a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northern Arizona University which builds on over twenty years of work with clients in community corrections. I have helped individuals and couples find healing and understanding in desperate situations. Give me a call and let’s continue to write your story!
